Editorial.  Hi folks.  This is the first newsletter of the season.  Hope you all had a good Christmas with lots of model related presents.    Perhaps we will be seeing some of them flying this year.  We will once again try and run some events to keep you occupied including family days when you can bring the family along to see what you get up to on a Sunday afternoon.

The flying field is in excellent condition now so no excuses. All we need is some good flying weather.

If you use the caravan, don’t forget to clean up after you. Especially the kitchen area.

All members, New & Old, please study the map above.  It shows the only flying areas at the field.  At no time should models be flown to the left/behind the pilot box. The area to the right of the pits is for hovering helis and flying of foamy type slow fly models.

On weekdays general flying stops at 8pm.  After 8pm permission has been granted for electric models to be flown until 9pm but only if fitted with a slow fly propeller.  Slow fly propellers must be seen and passed  by a committee member.

Wednesday nights are an exception and any model may be flown until 9pm, but make sure they are not noisy.
