From the Committee
Committee meeting 9th. May 2012
5 members attended with apologies from Graham Clarke
Membership.
This remains as per the previous month at 70 with 4 on the waiting list.
Maintenance & Repairs
The situation with replacement/repair of the benches is ongoing.
Mowing of the main strip is now proceeding on a regular basis,(subject to the weather) and it has had weedkiller and fertiliser treatment. The heli hover/training patch is to shortly be treated also, but mowing is ongoing.
Safety
A reminder to all members, including thermalling gliders, to observe the no-fly areas, which includes between the club hut/benches and the flight line ( applicable to all models of whatever size and type).

24th June………… Scale Day & Pride & joy.
22nd July……….. Gliders/Electro glider competition.
12th. August……. Fun fly competition.
